LITC Eligibility Screening Tool

Purpose: This eligibility screening tool will help potential grant applicants determine if they are a good fit for the LITC Program based on the basic tenets of Internal Revenue Code (IRC) § 7526 and the mission of the LITC Program.

Introduction: Low Income Taxpayer Clinics (LITCs) ensure the fairness and integrity of the tax system in several different ways. Please use this eligibility screening tool to determine if your organization may be a good fit for the LITC Program, which provides matching grants for up to $100,000 per year. This tool does not determine whether an organization will be funded but is meant to help an organization understand the basic requirements of the program before they begin the application process.
