Disaster Relief

The IRS and the Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS) are sensitive to the special circumstances encountered by businesses that have experienced a federally declared disaster. Your business may be entitled to special tax provisions because of the disaster.

TAS supports disaster relief by providing tax return information and facilitates other issues as needed. If your business suffers financial difficulties due to the disaster, you may qualify for TAS assistance or business disaster assistance.
